Cell Phones Radiation and Protection
By kezi2cool
communication devices, such as cellular telephones, is increasing
dramatically. Presently more than 350 million cellular phones are in use worldwide. ALong with these are the rising risks of of human health.
EMR from cellular phones—both the radiation from the handsets and from the tower-based antennas carrying
the signals—which studies have linked to development of brain tumors, genetic damage and other exposure-related conditions.
Yet the government and a well-funded cell phone industry media machine continue to mislead the unwary public about the dangers of a product used by billions of people.
A cellular phone is basically a radio that sends signals on waves to a base station. The
carrier signal generates two types of radiation fields: a near-field plume and a far-field
plume. Living organisms, too, generate electromagnetic fields at the cellular, tissue,
organ, and organism level; this is called the biofield. Both the near-field and far-field
plumes from cell phones and in the environment can wreak havoc with the human biofield, and when the biofield is compromised in any way so is
metabolism and physiology.
While mobile phones provide time-strapped society with unprecedented opportunities for
keeping in touch, they do so at a cost. There is a great and accumulating body of evidence that mobile phones are dangerous to human health. When you talk on your mobile phone, your voice is transmitted from the antenna as radio frequency radiation (RFR) between 800 MHz and 1,990MHz – a range equal to the middle of microwave frequency. Exposure to this
microwave RFR may have serious health consequences.
Every cell phone model sold in the United States has a specific measurement of how much microwave energy from the phone can penetrate the brain. Depending on how close the cell phone antenna is to the head, between 20% and 80% of the radiation emitted by a mobile phone is deposited in the user’s head. The microwave radiation is absorbed by and actually penetrates the area around the head, some reaching an inch, to an inch and a half, into the brain.

The WaveShield product protects against cell phone radiation and safely protects your ears and head from radiation. WaveSheild cellphone protection is amazing and headlines cellular radiation news. Mobile Phone Protection as well as cordless.
Cell phones emit two types of EMF:
From the antenna they emit microwaves and from the circuitry (body) of the phone and the battery they emit ELF fields. Carrying a mobile next to the body has health risks as the phones emit radiation even when not in use.
Many cell phone users place their handsets in their belts when they use their ear piece, thereby exposing large deposits of blood cells in the hip bone marrow or their genitals to the radiation.
Furthermore, even at a distance, the radiation from a mobile phone antenna may induce significant biological effects.
Hands free device with an earpiece are also not safe. Research has shown that the earpieces acts as an antenna, conducting radiation into the head
Health hazards:
1]Research has shown that electromagnetic emissions form cell phones can cause significant biological effects such as autisim and luekamemia
2]increase of blood pressure which can trigger a stroke or heart attack
3] memory and interfere with concentration and spatial awareness.
4]Many researches have linked brain tumors to cellphone.
5]Increase in the incidence of neoplasia.
6]Specific increase in the incidence of squamous cell carcinom
7]Premature aging
The Environmental Working Group on Wednesday released a list ranking cellphones in terms of radiation which showed shocking results in which Apple iphone was numero uno in cell phone radiation.
Here's a small list of cellphones and the radiation emitted by them :

See results without voting- Facebook IPO is official: $38 per share, on sale tomorrow under ticker symbol 'FB'
We largely steer clear of companies going public here at Engadget, but Facebook and its zillions of users warrants an atypical tip of the hat. The outfit has announced that starting tomorrow, 421,233,615 shares of its common stock will be up for grabs at a price to the public of $38 per share. It'll trade on the NASDAQ under the symbol "FB," with the outfit offering 180,000,000 shares of Class A common stock and selling stockholders offering 241,233,615 shares of Class A common stock. Closing of the offering is expected to occur on May 22nd, subject to "customary closing conditions." And with that, we'd like to congratulate a plethora of new billionaires on... well, being billionaires. Don't work too hard, guys and girls. Celebratory video is after the break.Continue reading Facebook IPO is official: $38 per share, on sale tomorrow under ticker symbol 'FB'Facebook IPO is official: $38 per share, on sale tomorrow under ticker symbol 'FB' originally appeared on Engadget on Thu, 17 May 2012 16:21:00 EDT. - Editorial: Thin laptops are the new mainstream, but what about battery life?
Bandwagons, trains and Tranes. Can't say that these three have a heck of a lot in common in most regards, but one thing's for sure: trying to stop this trio would be a Herculean task. And so it goes with laptops -- once upon a time, it was good enough to have something that resembled a portable tower, but these days, the ability to even see the chassis at all feels like a negative. I exaggerate, of course, but the proverbial race in the laptop world is hardly about price; it's about thinness. Intel's unstoppable quest to plaster the Ultrabook term as far and wide as possible has led to a change in the way consumers are viewing portable machines, and Apple's devilishly thin MacBook Air certainly played a role, too. What we're left with is a very curious priority list, and I'm wondering if too many OEMs have stopped to wonder if the "obvious" is indeed the "right." I'll be the first to confess that I love the look of thin. Samsung's Series 9 and Acer's Aspire S5 might just be two of the sexiest machines to ever be built, and Dell's original Adamo was primarily of interest due to one thing: its jaw-droppingly thin frame. But there's some saying about putting form before function that seems to apply here, particularly when keying in on battery life. I've no doubt that the marketing and research teams for PC makers far and wide understand the realities of the market place, and perhaps the average consumer really doesn't need more than four to six hours of life on a single charge. Five years ago, squeezing that much life from machines under an inch thick would've required some sort of wizardry that exists only in a rarely visited corner of West Hollywood. But today, I'm a dreamer. And I'm dreaming of a laptop with "all day battery life" -- something that could be screamed from the rooftops, and honestly, something that could probably be accomplished tomorrow if our laptop options weren't on such a diet.Continue reading Editorial: Thin laptops are the new mainstream, but what about battery life?Editorial: Thin laptops are the new mainstream, but what about battery life? originally appeared on Engadget on Wed, 16 May 2012 14:00:00 EDT. - Google reportedly planning stable of Nexus devices with Android 5.0, will sell 'em direct
Hand firmly grasping hat? Good. The Wall Street Journal is reporting on quite the bombshell today, noting that Google is about to cause its carrier partners in the States all sorts of grief -- indirectly, of course. Just weeks after placing its heralded Galaxy Nexus on sale for $399 unlocked, the report states that said move is only the beginning of a new initiative. Likely to be formally revealed at Google I/O, the mega-corp is planning to partner with a variety of OEMs (rather than just one at a time) in order to have up to five Pure Google (read: Nexus) devices available at once. Better still, the whole stable will ship with Android 5.0 (Jelly Bean) and will be sold directly from Google in unlocked form to consumers in America, Europe and Asia. The move is significant in a myriad ways. For one, more unlocked Nexus devices means more choice when it comes to carrier selection. Furthermore, the move is likely to quell fears that certain partners may have about Google making Motorola Mobility its favorite after a $12 billion acquisition. Not surprisingly, Google's not commenting on the matter, but sources "close" to the situation say that the company's hoping to have the 5.0 cadre on sale by Thanksgiving -- you know, just in time for Black Friday and the looming holiday shopping season. We're all guessing that this will address the growing "app situation" head-on; by making a push to eliminate carrier-infused bloatware (while also providing early Android OS access to more partners), we're hoping that the whole "skinning" dilemma is addressed, too.Google reportedly planning stable of Nexus devices with Android 5.0, will sell 'em direct originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 15 May 2012 17:04:00 EDT. I pretty much agree with everything that is said in this article. I would like to add that few people are aware of the dangers because the science is being completely spun to maintain the cell phone industry's position. There are studies that point clearly to the link between cell phone radiation and cancer, for instance the 2008 Hardell study found using a cell phone doubles your risk of malignant brain tumors. And there are lots more, but thanks to cell phone industry's dirty tricks campaign we are lead to believe that cell phones are safe. Another important issue is that of cordless phones which also give off dangerous radiation and due to the fact that many cordless phone bases are to be found in bedrooms, may well pose a bigger public health threat than cell phones see http://electricsense.com/815/cordless-phones-even-
